Oriel is a stained glass company run by architectural glass artist Stuart Low, designing and making all forms of stained glass, from leaded lights to detailed painted windows.
The company has earned a reputation for the very highest standards of work. Customers include other stained glass studios who repeatedly use Oriel's services, as well as art consultancies and private client's. Oriel is particularly noted for its design work and glass painting.
-Design
Each new window crafted by the company, however large or small, starts as a scale design, and is produced by an artist. We take every care to ensure the client's ideas have been realised before work begins on the window.
-Glass Painting
Is an art that has changed little since the very earliest medieval windows. By carefully painting each individual piece of glass and then firing them in a kiln, the glass artist can build up a “picture” in the window.
